Why should you buy an NFTBox?

We are all seeing the NFT world explode in 2021 right in front of our eyes. You may have only just joined this community in the past few months, you may have been here years, regardless, you can see the winds of change. NFTs are coming mainstream and there is nothing anyone can do to stop it.

NFTs have already changed an incalculable amount of lives for the better but we are clearly at the start of this trend. The number of people dedicating a full time job towards NFTs, part time or even retiring because of NFTs, is on the rise and will only keep going up. With this new interest comes lots of new opportunities, which many will try to exploit — how can you know when you are buying an NFT that you won’t just be rugged or abandoned?

Let me talk to you about some of my rules for my longer term holds.

1. Track Record — I want to know someone is in it for the long haul and willing to build an empire around that NFT I am buying, or is this person just trying to cash in on what they see as the latest fad.

Myself and Pranked dove into NFTs in Dec 2017 when I introduced him to CryptoKitties. We have been hooked since and due to a wonderful thing thing called the blockchain you don’t need to take my word for it — you can go and see our many many tens of thousands of combined transactions diving into hundreds of different NFT projects. We love NFTs and we want to build a company that spreads that love to as many people as we can. Myself and Pranked are currently taking no salary, funds are funneled back into the company to help growth and to attempt to build something truly great. Our goal is for a brand to compete at the highest levels in the NFT world and to bring true value to our customers and the artists and projects we work with.

2.Is this legit? — I want to be reassured that after that first sale of the NFTs all the promises and roadmaps don’t just disappear, have the website go down and the company wallets get drained. No rugs here.

NFTBoxes is a legitimate company set up in the UK. We are a Private Limited Company and will be doing things like paying our taxes, paying pensions for employees when we expand and completing audits of our finances. All the boring stuff that any non crypto company has to do, this should be the standard in our industry, but it isn’t yet. As a community we can change that, when you buy into a project, stick to the ones that are doing it right. There will be a flood of projects coming in the next weeks, please DYOR as they say.

3.Are they only in it for themselves? — I want to know there is more of a purpose to the project than just making themselves money. When you have a bigger purpose than just making a profit it makes you care for your product in a way that benefits the customer much more.

Here at NFTBoxes we see ourselves as NFT vets. Many of you reading this will have been in the trenches with us for the last 3 years seeing us in a range of different projects buying, selling, playing, breeding, mining, shooting, you name it, we did it. We love NFTs and our goal is to get the work of great artists and projects into more hands than ever before. For some we would be the route to a first elite level crypto artist piece and for others we would be a great starting point to diversify a very first NFT purchase. Maybe you already have plenty of art but keeping up with the whole space right now is just impossible, let us do it for you. All while helping the artists reach a wider audience, hopefully upping their number of fans, certainly upping their total number of collectors and compensating them automatically from the box purchases for their work — We have already seen they have put in just as much effort for these /500 as if they were a 1/1! And then from our perspective, I am putting in 16 hour days, working the hardest I ever have and loving it. A true win win win scenario we are building here.

4.Are there any future plans? — I want to know that the NFT I am buying is attached to a company that will continue to fight for my NFT with their long term plans. There is nothing more demoralizing than loving a collection only to see the team disband a few weeks later after delivering on none of the promises.

Keys. Badges. Staking. Engagement. We are building a product here to engage our community, to build a community and to reward our community. Collect all 11 keys over the year? Who knows what that could possibly mean come what would be the 12th box! The Genesis Badge? Mysterious.

Staking — We will be rewarding those who decide to hold any piece minted on our contract and hopefully other pieces we distribute too. The more of the NFTs you hold, the higher your chance at a ticket for the next drop. We have further plans for this staking idea but we are not here to just add any old shitcoin to our product that doesn’t really have any point but people will fomo into. We are only adding real content, real purpose and a direction that is needed.

We plan to reward our community for sticking with us and we believe we have the know how to do that.

5.Do you actually like anything you are buying? — We all know there are certain purchases you make just because you think you can sell it for more later. We are moving into new territory now with this boom, lots of projects will die out (somehow more than ever before!), you need to be happy with what you have even if eventually you don’t end up with the planned flip.

Generally I was never the art collector in the NFT world myself. Pranked was always the bigger collector and in our small circle we have a few very high end collectors who have been collecting for 2+ years and have utterly massive NFT art collections. However, all that said, I absolutely love the pieces we have put out. Some of them I have had on loop accidentally while working on my second monitor and I can’t help but being distracted by them over and over again. I truly believe our method of reaching out to a headliner and having them set a theme along with recommending artists they think fit their theme really brings out the best in the boxes. When you look at the collection of work in the January Coldie box it really does scream Innovators, the set theme. JOY really has smashed it out of the park with finding arts who really compliment his style.

In conclusion I really believe here at NFTBoxes we are onto something big, I think we have the desire, the means and the knowhow to produce a product in which everyone wins.

Hopefully you believe in us too!
